Parent FAQ

Once we confirm your identity and agreement, we will approve your access. The database includes the donor’s birthdate, graduate school, degree, diploma, appearance, videos, gene report, and medical report, which are confidential and not allowed to be shared with third parties. If you need further information from the donor, you can contact our case manager team for support

Most Chinese egg donors are from Taiwan, some are located in the USA, China, or other countries. We will arrange for them to do the local medical screening to make sure they are healthy and ready to donate their eggs.

The egg donation process typically takes 1 to 3 months depending on egg donors and sperm partner’s medical screening.  Here’s a breakdown of the timeline:

1.  Matching (Variable)

Once approved, donors are matched with a recipient or selected by an intended parent. The time for matching varies depending on the program and the recipient’s needs.

2. Medical Screening (1–4 weeks)

Screening: This involves medical, psychological, and genetic testing, which can take a few weeks to complete. Choosing experienced egg donors with the gene report, and egg retrieval report will expedite the process.

3. Ovarian Stimulation (2–4 weeks)

Baseline Testing: Donors undergo bloodwork and an ultrasound to confirm they are ready to begin.

Hormonal Injections: Donors self-administer hormonal medications for about 10–14 days to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs.

Monitoring: Regular visits (every few days) to the clinic for blood tests and ultrasounds to monitor progress.

4. Egg Retrieval (1 day)

The egg retrieval is a minor surgical procedure performed under sedation. It takes about 20–30 minutes, but donors typically take a day or two to recover fully.

5. Follow-up (1–2 weeks)

Donors may have a follow-up appointment to ensure they’ve recovered well after the retrieval.

While the active donation phase (hormonal stimulation and retrieval) takes about a month, the overall process from application to completion can span 2 to 3 months.

We very carefully work with the intended parents to pay in three stages to reduce your financial burden, and charge fees based on the progress of the egg donor.
